Atkasan Inc. It has been established within the body of Çukurova Paper and Packaging Group in 1996. Atkasan, whose main area of activity collection of paper/paperboard waste collection and bringing them back to the economy, collects approximately 180,000 tons of waste annually, together with other wastes other than paper/paperboard, and contributes to the economy.
150.000 tons of paper/cardboard-containing waste collected by Atkasan annually is recycled by our group company, Selkasan. The merchandised papers produced by Selkasan are recycled by turning them into boxes by our group companies which are Kaplamin Ambalaj, Ova Oluklu and Yalova Oluklu firms. Wastes collected other than paper/paperboard-containing wastes are sent to the licenced recycling companies and contribute to the economy.
It provides services to every region of Turkey with its collection tools and equipment at its 2 licensed facilities in Izmir and Manisa for waste collection. Besides, it started not only waste collection but also plastic and wood recovery activities with its investments in plastic recycling and wood pallet recycling facilities in 2018.
Manisa, Salihli Municipality carries out the projects for the source-separated collection of waste at the source as a licensed collection-decomposition company within the scope of the Packaging Waste Control Regulation.
Atkasan has also registered its quality with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates.
Atkasan, which has started integrated waste management studies since 2005, provides the following services with the License and Qualification Certificates obtained from the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey in accordance with the Environmental Legislation.
We created the 2024 theme of Çukurova Paper and Packaging Group as "WATER PROTECTION".
